“Amphora” – Amethyst Pendant

The shape of this pendant echoes the form of an ancient Greek amphora, a vessel used for the storing and transportation of wine. The ancient Greeks believed that amethyst was capable of warding off drunkenness, even going so far as to place gemstones in their mouths when imbibing.
