Pietersite is a rare and unusual stone similar to tiger eye in its luster and chemical composition. The base hue of the cabochon at the center of this pendant is a muted purple, interspersed with streaks of red and luminous, reflective blue. Red and burgundy garnet accents draw out more of the red tones in this special piece.
